The Internet has created enormous opportunities for people to start new businesses and re-invent old ones. By providing a low-cost way to reach worldwide markets, the Internet makes it possible to start companies that could not have existed before. It also creates opportunities for existing businesses to reach and serve entirely new groups of customers.
